Water is Life is a five minute sound and light show proposed for the Philadelphia Zoo Bird Lake. The outdoor experience is a celebration of water and its importance to all life on Earth. It is also a warning and call to action to protect this valuable resource.

Imagine families assembling in the early evening around the lake. They sit looking at the beautiful water, faight lights glowing from its depths. They look at the backdrop of rocks and trees with expectation of the experience to come.

Using a lighting and hick stock video from around the world, the narrator relates the intimate connection between water and life and thereby the importance of protecting and conserving this valuable resource. As the narrator points out, while the Earth is covered by water, only 3 percent is drinkable. So we must celebrate water, and agree to protect it.
